**Position**: Awake Overnight Support Worker

**Location**:Galilee House

**Salary**: $21.88/hr

**Start date**: Immediate

**Duration**: Temporary Full-time (6 months)

**Responsible To**:House Leader

**Major responsibilities**:

- Responds to individual needs by respectfully supporting them with their personal hygiene, care, dress and eating, etc., as needed, in a manner that enhances their dignity and appropriate appearance.
- Shares with other team members in daily housekeeping chores to ensure that the home is safe, clean, well-managed and welcoming to all. This includes cleaning, cooking, laundry etc.
- Responds to medical and other emergencies

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certificate/Diploma in Disability Studies, PSW, Community Support Worker, or Heath Care Aide, or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Meal preparation and housekeeping experience
