**What’s the Job?**

The Night Shift Worker will contribute to the overall success of the property by providing superior customer service, administrative support, and financial oversight during the nighttime hours. This role is pivotal in making and modifying reservations, greeting and registering guests, settling guest accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting after each night.

**Your work will include**:

- Performing check-ins and check-outs, ensuring that each client transaction involves a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Maintaining a professional image and service-oriented environment to support a positive customer service experience and service excellence at the hotel property.
- Taking reservations over the phone, in person, or via online resources, ensuring all aspects of reservation procedures are followed, including booking, confirmation, and cancellation policies.
- Adjusting or modifying reservations based on guest requests.
- Handling basic complaints and resolving perceived guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
- Responding to incidents of noise, unruly behaviour, and guest complaints.
- Verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, handling discrepancies, and identifying issues of potential fraud.
- Conducting nightly audits of the hotel’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and preparing reports for management.
- Collaborating with daytime staff to ensure a smooth transition and communicating any notable events or issues from the night.
- Maintaining current knowledge of local events, tourism amenities, and weather forecast.

**Who are we looking for?**
- You have strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- You can work flexible hours, especially during nighttime shifts.
- You have technical aptitude and beginner level knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- You have a professional appearance and attitude.
- You enjoy working in a culture of accountability.
- Prior experience in a similar role or as a night auditor is an asset but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour
