**Full Time Days**

Monday to Friday 7am - 5:00pm

**Key Responsibilities**
- Comply with all company policies surrounding delivery of material
- Ensure the correct loading and securing of materials in the vehicle
- Unload material at job sites as per Gillies Lumber policy or as directed by Site Supervisor, Gillies Estimator, or Installation Crew Leader
- Unload material safely; make use of provided tools for unloading of material (dollies, lifts, ramps, etc.)
- Check that all delivery paperwork matches the material in the truck to ensure accuracy and completeness of the order
- Maintain vehicle logs as per provincial and federal regulation
- Have constant communication with coworkers/supervisors about any issues during delivery
- Complete and hand in daily delivery paperwork
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills and Qualifications Required**
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Reliability in attendance and completion of job duties
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of basic mathematics

**Qualifications considered an Asset**
- Clean Driver’s Abstract (preferred)
- Working at Heights (preferred)

**Physical requirements include**
- Ability to work outdoors, year-round, in all weather conditions
- Heavy lifting; must be able to lift 60lbs regularly
- Sitting and driving for longs periods of time
- Frequently climbing up and down stairs
- Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight

**Work Environment**
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Additionally, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
