META Talent Agency currently represents writers and directors, and is now adding a Key Creatives Division (cinematographers, editors, hair & makeup artists, costume designers, and production designers).
We are recruiting an agent with a passion to help continue our mission of addressing inequitable access to agent representation for underserved communities.
Key responsibilities include
- Identify, recruit, and sign clients who work in key creative roles within the entertainment industry
- Maintain, and build relationships with a network of key industry decision makers (ex: showrunners, producers, heads of production, executives)
- Identify and stay up-to-date on employment opportunities for key creatives, and submit clients accordingly
- Read and negotiate contracts on behalf of clients, including answering client contract questions
- Schedule and book client meetings and interviews, and manage client’s calendars/availability accordingly
- Provide career guidance and support for client long-term career success
- Ensure expert-level knowledge on guilds and agencies guidelines that impact key creative roles
- Stay up to date on industry trends and changes
- Perform other essential administrative duties as applicable
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $22.71-$24.51 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M4C 1J9
