**Job Duties**:

- In accordance with the Preventive Maintenance Program, performs preventive maintenance on buildings and equipment and prepares/maintains required reports and records.
- Practices and promotes energy conservation.
- Remains knowledgeable of current codes and regulations pertaining to the maintenance of the facility.
- Demonstrates respect to all customers, by working with them in a calm, courteous manner
- Performs other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Minimum of two years experience in a related position to obtain sufficient practical experience to satisfactorily perform the responsibilities of the position.**:

- **Must have and a Power Engineering Fifth Class certificate.**:

- Preference will be given to applicants with carpentry, electrical or plumbing knowledge.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language.
- Mentally and physically able to perform duties as outlined.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and to complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates concern and interest in providing a safe and attractive environment for facility customers, i.e., residents, guests, and staff.
- Demonstrates effective communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to function as an effective team member with other Staff, Residents, Families and the Public.
- Available for emergency call-back when necessary.

Pay: $23.12-$27.56 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
