Production Supervisor

**Purpose of the Role**

Reporting to the production manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the smooth operation of the sweet potato fry processing line, as well as the proper management of human resources, materials, and equipment. The supervisor ensures that processing activities are safe, that production meets quality standards, complies with safety norms, and is delivered in the expected quantity.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the daily work of employees under their supervision.
- Train, mentor, and supervise their team while adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines, as well as quality and production directives.
- Lead human resources efforts to achieve operational goals.
- Prepare reports for all relevant stakeholders.
- Optimize employee and equipment performance on the line through continuous improvement initiatives aimed at meeting daily objectives.
- Handle additional tasks assigned by their manager.

**Required Qualifications**
- College diploma (DEC) in operations management or another relevant field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in production as a supervisor.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills in French and English (Spanish is an asset).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage stress.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a team.

**Note**: The current work shift is 8 hours per day, but it may transition to 12 hours per day in the coming months to meet production needs.

Pay: From $67,000.00 per year
