**SUMMARY**

API Truck Drivers pickup and deliver hatching eggs and live poultry throughout Atlantic Canada. These positions require someone that can work a flexible schedule including some weekends. This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift weights of up to 30lbs for extended periods during the loading and unloading of the truck. Previous experience and a proven commendable record driving a straight truck/tractor trailer and experience keeping driver’s logs is required.

**REQUIRMENTS**
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Certification from recognized truck driving school or equivalent experience
- Valid Class 1 NB Driver’s License preferred (may consider Class 3)
- Defensive Driving Course
- Pleasant & outgoing personality with exceptional customer service skills
- Organizational and time management abilities
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with live poultry
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed

**WORK CONDITIONS**
- Local travel within Atlantic Canada (primarily NB)
- Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors
- Casual work
- Ability to lift 30 pounds for extended periods
