**The Opportunity - Production Machine Operator**

The area of work can be in any area of the plant operation including but not limited to: Slicing, Trimming, Pumping and Tumbling, Raw Packaging, Defrost and Cookroom / Cook Packaging.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Respond to the planned schedule and ensure proper tooling is set and assembly is complete as necessary ready for production
- Ensure all machine safeties are installed
- Ensure proper dates are put on product and correct film and flavour is being used
- Set machine speeds (using computer settings on some machines)
- Verify weight of product
- At shift completion disassemble equipment in preparation for sanitation; Purge sauce injectors
- Requisition materials and supplies.
- Prepare paperwork including production and quality reports

**Requirements - Machine Operator**
- Prior experience operating food processing machinery is necessary
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Able to lift/handle up to 23kg / 50 lbs
- A good understanding of English
- A mature outlook and good work ethic is essential
- OSSD or Grade 12 is preferred but not essential
