We are looking for an experienced piercer to join our MAJ team. You will be a key to generating memorable experiences at our boutique in our new Vancouver Flagship on West 4th. You have great attention to detail and enjoy creating and working in a clean, organized space. You have an engaging personality and connect with customers with heart and respect.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and perform single needle piercings
- Provide a clean and sterile workspace
- Ensure all health and safety protocols are being followed with piercing procedures
- Manage and order all necessary piercing supplies and equipment
- Educate customers on the piercing procedure, potential risks and aftercare
- Work in tandem with retail team to create memorable experiences instore
- Act as a positive brand ambassador for MAJ
- Build genuine rapport with customers and maintain a tidy, comfortable and inviting space
- Offer personalized styling placement and suggestions for each customer’s needs and wants
- support with product development

Skills and Requirements:

- Aware of Vancouver piercing law requirements
- At least 3 years of needle piercing experience
- Bloodborne Pathogen certification, and up to date First Aid and CPR
- Able to use an autoclave machine
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Passionate about jewelry and the latest piercing trends
- Professional portfolio (please include portfolio or Instagram account with resume)
