**The bigger picture**

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to come on board as our Credit Management Analyst for a 24-month term. You will play a key role in reducing Conexus’ credit risk exposure while improving the financial health of our members.

**How you’ll be spending your time**
- Researching, recommending, and implementing policy and loan portfolio management best practices.
- Identifying and managing credit risks and opportunities within the credit unions and the members’ loan risk appetite.
- Providing delivery of business lending products to members through employee education, skill development & understanding and trouble shooting.
- Conducting research for enhancements to lending policies and products with growth and efficiencies being at the forefront.
- Maintaining and prioritization of policy backlog while supporting internal stakeholders with insight into the loan portfolio (e.g., emerging trends, areas for opportunity, changes to risk)
- Working closely with the Portfolio Risk Manager and Credit Policy Manager.

You excel in analyzing data, systems, and processes, with acute attention to detail. Your analytical mindset and problem-solving acumen drive efficient solutions, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

**The experience you bring**
- 4 years’ experience working in business or lending support in a financial institution.
- Post-secondary education business, economics, analytics, mathematics or other technical discipline.
- Knowledge of lending policy and procedure.
- Basic understanding of underwriting systems and lending processes.
- Knowledge of systems and tools used for lending would be an asset.
- Agriculture and Commercial Lending Law will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of CUDGC regulatory environment, IFRS9 and Basel III will be considered an asset.
