Reporting into the **Senior Buyer,** the **Buying Assistant - Accessories **will be responsible for assisting in the fulfillment of the core accessory program by supporting critical points in the supply chain: ordering, delivery dates, receiving, accounting issues. This is part time permanent position, which requires teammates to be available to work 15-20 hours per week. **_We are looking for teammates with:_** - Advanced knowledge of Excel - Advanced knowledge of retail math - Oracle cloud understanding an asset **_ This teammate will be accountable for:_** **Procurement**: - Data entry - Creates and submits set up, costing and purchase orders for matrix and seasonal programs and monitors and ensures adherence to purchase order due dates. - Assures that the item is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, meets the quality standards and guidelines set up by Andrew Peller Limited. **Supply Chain Management**: - Manages a warehouse min /max system for replenished items. - Maintains work processes including purchase orders, item maintenance, supplier files, invoice reconciliation and payment. **Communication and implementation**: - Works closely with Suppliers, Estate Wine Group ("EWG") Team, Senior Buyer, Buyer and Buyer Assistant-Accessories, The Wine Shop ("TWS") retail stakeholders and EWG stakeholders to establish and communicate buying and delivery schedule and to advise of any issues on supplier delivery and purchase order price changes. - Follows safe work procedures and practices and reports all unsafe working conditions/hazards to their reporting Manager We are conducting an internal and external search simultaneously.
