**Job Purpose**:
The Account Manager for Western Canada is to maintain and grow our Powder Coatings business in Western Canada, mainly in British Columbia and Alberta. By ensuring that adequate resources and capabilities (people and processes) reside within the business, the Account Manager will deliver on the financial and non-financial targets by managing business relationships with current customers and new prospects; especially strategic customers.

**Total Compensation**:
- Annual base Salary of $85,000.00 to $95,000.00.
- Up to 35% Annual Sales Bonus based on personal and corporate performance.
- 3 weeks’ vacation + 5 personal/Sick days + 2 company determined floater days.

**Key Accountabilities**:
- Provide stellar service to key accounts by understanding and supporting their needs, assessing technical issues and liaising with experts to resolve their problems efficiently and timely
- Foster collaborative leadership with Customer Service and Technical Support teams by defining expectations, inspiring service excellence and supporting operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with Regional /Corporate goals.
- Build client pipeline for assigned territory.
- Deliver against targets in line with regional objectives and budgets.
- Drive innovation and business development through B2B customers.
- Develop and maintain trusting client relationships with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Drive continuous improvement across the organization that are adding value to customers.
- Provide accurate sales and demand forecasts to support operational efficiency targets.
- Work cross-functionally to grow existing accounts and/or drive new business (batch trials, testing new technologies, validation of new processes, development of new product).
- Independently prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful outcome of transactions.
- Manage negotiations to mitigate claims.
**Job Requirements**:
- 3-5 years of work experience in B2B sales and key account management
- Computer Literacy and strong competency in PowerPoint, Excel and the rest of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, presentation and public speaking skills with sound business and financial acumen.
- Creating and presenting compelling value propositions that are technically and financially sound, client centric and supporting operational efficiency.
- Problem solving, relationship building, influential skills, project management.
- Paints and coatings industry knowledge is a strong asset.
- Post Secondary education preferred (All may apply)
- Driven to learn and deliver, willingness to be coached, looking for development.
