Alavida Lifestyles is looking for a **Part Time Activities Assistant/Aide **for our retirement residence located in **Orleans, ON**. They will assist in the planning and implementation of recreational programs for Residents under the direction of the Recreation Manager.

**Must be available to work occasional weekends.**
- **RESPONSIBILITIES**_
- Organize supplies and equipment as needed
- Set up program area as needed
- Keep attendance and document Resident participation in activities
- Encourage Residents to attend programs and assists them to and from programs
- Work closely with the Recreation Manager and other staff on the floor to provide relevant memory care programming to residents with dementia
- Performs other duties as requested
- **QUALIFICATIONS**_
- Experience working with elderly population and with individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s
- Highly organized and able to work independently
- Education in leisure services or related field considered an asset
- Must have a passion for working with seniors

Pay: $16.72-$18.24 per hour
