Iron Installer

**Job Purpose**:
Joining the Viking-Cives family you will have pride working within our fast-paced custom installation shop, installing snow & ice removal products, mechanical equipment, dump bodies, etc., on standard and customized heavy commercial trucks. **(Personal tools required)**. **N.B. Applicants must have the right to work in Canada. Viking Cives is not able to offer sponsorship at this time.**

**Job Duties: Iron Installation**
Mechanical installation such as dump bodies, snowplows, spreaders, etc. on heavy commercial trucks.
Handle heavy materials manually or with overhead cranes.
Maintain traceable requirements by completing required documentation.
Comfortable using air/electric tools, shop measuring tools & cutting equipment, to cut stock tubing, angle iron, channel iron, flat bar, etc.
Produce quality product in a safe manner while focusing on given standards. Maintain daily cleanliness of work area.
Adhere to all safety practices and report any unsafe conditions, broken or malfunctioning equipment.

**Skills/Qualifications**:
Fabrication, and out of position welding.
Read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
Detail oriented with good organizational skills. Basic mathematical skills.
Hands-on experience working with heavy-duty commercial vehicle equipment and accessories preferred.
Flexible, dedicated, motivated, challenge seeker, results driven.
Ability to work with others and independently.

**Education/Experience**:
Mechanical/installation experience/knowledge preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $23.75 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

- Mount Forest, ON N0G 2L0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fluid Power knowledge: 1 year (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (required)
