We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company that is looking for an experienced and highly motivated IT Services Technician to join our PlexxTech team.

We are seeking an IT Services Technician to work out of Coquitlam, BC and provide in-person visits at our client locations. This position will ensure proper computer operations so that end users can accomplish their business tasks effectively. This includes actively resolving end-user help requests within established SLA’s (Service Level Agreements). Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle.

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to escalate complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Document and update technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles.
- Maintain spare IT inventory list and control assignments
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades and rollouts.
- Educate end-users on basic troubleshooting and IT best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance system performance.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with desktop operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 11 Pro, Mac OS, and Mac IOS.
- Working knowledge of a wide range of audio/visual equipment and the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
- Ability to administer Print Services in a Windows environment.
- Ability to conceptualize workflows in the Helpdesk IT support tool.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly, and technical language.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional customer service orientation.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

**Credentials and Experience**

College diploma or University degree in related Computer Science field

**Working Conditions**:

- Working remotely from home and from our shared office space in Coquitlam
- Access to vehicle; clean driver’s license
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Ability to physically inspect equipment
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Overtime as required

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year (22-25 an hour)
