Customs Rater

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Evaluate and classify goods for customs purposes, ensuring accurate data entry in compliance with regulations.
- Manage customer relationships by providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries related to customs processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless account management and effective communication regarding shipment statuses.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide informed guidance to clients.

**Qualifications**
- Proficient in data entry with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating strong independent work capabilities.

- 5 years experience at a Canadian Customs Broker
- Knowledge of ITMR4 would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of the CARM Portal
