**Elevator Technician Apprentice - New Equipment Division**

We’re Alliance Elevator Inc., a growing company in the elevator installation, maintenance and service sector working with clients across Ontario. We pride ourselves on quality as well as a close knit team working together to troubleshoot, develop and grow together and provide exception customer service to our clients.

We are currently hiring for an **Elevator Technician Apprentice **to join our team.

- **Detail Oriented **— **The ability to spot details at close and far range, noticing settings, operations, and site conditions that are different than the norm and adjust accordingly
- **Confident Troubleshooter** — Determining root causes of operating errors and device failures, reasoning a corrective action and implementing a plan to accomplish the goal

**Qualifications**:

- EDMA/ EDMT - Elevating Devices Mechanic - Class A or T. This is mandatory.
- Experience working in new installations, maintenance and modernization
- Post secondary education with an electrical or mechanical base is an asset
- Knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code (OEC)
- Valid G Class Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Must be available, able and willing to participate in rotating On Call Schedule

**Job Types**: Apprenticeship, Part-time

**Salary**: $19.00-$26.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brantford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Eletrical installation: 1 year (preferred)
- Elevator installation/service: 1 year (preferred)
- Mechanical assembly: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- EDM-T (preferred)
- Drivers licence (preferred)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
