- Operate forklifts, including pallet jack, to move materials and products throughout the seafood processing facility
- Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing order picking processes.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Perform lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as necessary.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in operating a 5 ton truck and as warehouse distribution or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, including pallet jacks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment is a plus.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order processing are essential.
