Meadowbrook Golf Club is seeking for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. As an Assistant, you are responsible for supervising the Food & Beverage operation and to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. As an Assistant you would also be required to communicate and delegate tasks to the team and to ensure departmental targets are achieved.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

- Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
- Supervise & train food and beverage staff.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage members & guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Help with ordering and inventory control costs.
- Scheduling
- Oversee food service, act as an expeditor, help servers when necessary.
- Assist F&B department with achieving financial targets
- Responsible for the opening and closing of the Clubhouse
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Study in food and beverage is an asset
- Knowledge of wine and food
- Smart serve certification required
- Previous Food & Beverage serving and bartending experience
- Previous experience in supervising and/or delegation
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to details
- Positive attitude
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work on your own or in teams
