**PERMANENT PART TIME COOK (0.8 FTE)**

Mount St. Mary Hospital is the place for you We are a long term care hospital serving the dietary needs of 200 residents.

We are currently seeking a cook to fulfill a part-time permanent position. This role will involve some variety, working morning and afternoon cook shifts, working in our café and project work associated with meeting the needs of our residents.

Shifts are a mix of 0530 to 1330, 0730 to 1530 and 0900 to 1700 hours. Schedules are defined so you will know months in advance your work pattern.

The rate of pay is $27.56 per hour. This position includes benefits, as well as vacation and sick time.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment as a cook
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols
- Ability and experience to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Experience with meal preparation and cooking techniques
- Banquet or experience cooking for large groups

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $27.56 per hour
