Assistant CNC Operator

S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a knowledgeable summer student to join our team as an Assistant CNC Operator - Metal Turning. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team.
As an Assistant CNC Operator, you will
Be responsible for deburring/chamfering, drilling materials
Work in the finishing area tumbling, washing and grinding various pieces and parts
Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices
Other duties as assigned
Who are we looking for? Someone who
Is currently enrolled in a post secondary institution (diploma or degree program)
Ideally has basic power tool experience; however, no prior experience is required
Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with mínimal supervision
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
