First General is a leading Insurance Restoration Company specializing in flood, wind and fire remediation and repair.

Currently, we are seeking a trained and experienced Carpenter (Shift Leader) to join our team.

A clear criminal record and a valid Driver's License are mandatory requirements.

**Job Description**:

- Lead a team on site to complete specific projects and ensure compliance with all safe work procedures and company regulations
- Serve as customer facing representation on site and represent the Company in a professional manner
- Supervise, train, and develop staff within your crew
- Mentor field staff with planning and executing work on the job sites; as well as being available to answer questions about the work being performed
- Ensure that work is being performed safely and in accordance with the project schedule
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
- Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information
- Will always practice good housekeeping to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite
- Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may or are affecting completion of the job (and schedule) to the appropriate person

Qualifications:

- Certified Journeyman Carpenter or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience in the field
- Possess hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials and tools
- Strong leadership skills - lead your team

Physical Demands:

- Frequent lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted

There is a mandatory on-call rotation, and some travel required. We are seeking career-oriented individuals. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. We offer a competitive wage and benefits package.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Carpentry: 3 years (required)
