Elementary Arabic Instructor

**Job Summary**

**Location**
In-home instruction in North York, Ontario.

Availability needed**:4 PM onwards on a weekday or weekends in the morning**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons tailored to elementary students, focusing on conversation, vocabulary, reading, and writing.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and builds a love of the Arabic language.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support language development.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to learning.
- Utilize creative activities and resources to enhance instruction and engagement.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs, including students with disabilities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education.

**Experience**
- Experience teaching Arabic to children in tutoring, classroom, or mentoring roles.
- Familiarity with elementary teaching strategies.
- Familiarity with Google Suite is an asset but not required.

**Education**
- Certified Teachers (B.Ed.) and/or
- Graduates with degrees in Arabic Language, Education, or related fields
- B.Ed. students and university students with relevant teaching or tutoring experience are also encouraged to apply.
