**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
The Finished Goods & Procurement Planner is part of the Supply Chain team and reports to the Material Management Team Leader. This operational role manages finished goods, raw material, packaging, and direct material inventories and provides least cost supply chain solutions while maximizing customer satisfaction. This role balances manufacturing and distribution efficiencies with working capital constraints and customer service requirements. The Finished Goods & Procurement Planner’s problem-solving process drives production scheduling, inventory deployment, and raw material rationalization.

**Span of Control**: Individual role with assigned responsibilities
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Health and Safety**
- To provide a safe and secure work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Encourage safe behavior and ensure employee participation in various programs such as risk identification and analysis and workplace wellness program.
**Materials management activities**
- Optimize Finished Goods inventories to meet OC financial goals and to meet customer demand
- Optimize and Procure raw materials to support finished goods production schedule
- Acts as a liaison between commercial team, operations, and external suppliers in managing the supply of finished goods and raw materials
- Creates and maintains master data in SAP including material master, vendor master, info records etc.
- Maintains and manages supply-demand balances and inventory levels of key raw materials
- Executes inventory management principles
- Continuously improves procurement processes with the objective of eliminating waste and minimizing manual system workarounds
- Leads productivity projects for finished goods & raw materials
- Monitor goods receipts not invoiced (GRNI’s) and kick outs to ensure suppliers are paid promptly, root cause and take action to prevent future recurrences
- Creation of new products in MDL (MydataLinx)
- Publication for new products to the plant and populate the required data in the new material creation used by the plant staff.
- Use Aspen for production planning with the best sequence to satisfy the customers and aligned with plant productivity.
- Direct communication with sales and customers for high volume or special orders.
- Communicate with subcontracting supplier for special products working for price list, lead-time and services offered.
- Provide required date for the plant labelling system to transfer daily production to SAP
- Management of production problems, pallet shortage, order closure and raw material levels.
**Plant Partnership and Impact**
- Develop influential working relationship with the plant and key business partners by providing insight and advice that consistently improves thinking and decision-making processes and outcomes.
- Deeply understands the requirements and constraints of the plant and acts decisively to shape its outcome by influencing suppliers, transportation & sourcing through execution. Takes initiative and articulates ideas passionately and persuasively.
**Insights and Analysis**
- Provide effective and timely information, thoughtful business insights/analytics and business performance evaluations to ensure the business meets their operations plan
- Identify value creation opportunities and risks the business must address. Build credible business plans and ensure the correct amount of resources exist to mitigate risk or realize opportunities
- Trend analysis, forecasting needs in advance using sales forecasts and history
**Cross - functional leadership and team contribution**
- Develops and build relationships with key partners inside and outside the organization
- Collaborate with suppliers, commodity leaders, science & technology and plants to ensure corporate objectives are achieved
- Translates business and organizational strategy into day-to-day priorities and actions
- Continuously improves total cost by identifying and acting to capture cost reduction opportunities

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or a related field
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:
- 2-5 years’ experience in a sourcing, procurement, supply chain, customer service, or materials management role preferred
- APICS CPIM preferred
