Warehouse Shipper and Receiver

Winnipeg, Canada INLAND AUDIO VISUAL LIMITED Full time

Shippers and receivers send, accept and record the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock to and from Inland Audio Visual.

Shippers and receiver will perform the following duties:

- Determine method of shipment and prepare bills, invoices and other shipping documents.
- Assemble containers and crates, pack goods to be shipped, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
- Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas.
- Maintain internal record-keeping systems.
- Supervise material handlers and helpers
- Complete an inventory count annually and make necessary reports
- Keeping the shop organized and free of non-needed obstructions.

Education
- High School Certification

**Qualifications**:

- Preferred knowledge of major couriers - FedEx, Purolator, UPS, etc. including how to operate their respective software packages
- High attention to detail essential with ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a busy environment,

Weight Handling
- Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job and lifting up to 60b
- Ability to use a pallet jack for heavier items

Securityand Safety
- Criminal Record Check
- Valid Drivers Licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
