Electronics Assembler and Service Technician

**Job Title: Assembler and Service Technician**
**Work Environment**
Work primarily takes place inside a manufacturing environment and occasionally on customer vessels. Some international travel is required, along with infrequent lifting of inventory not exceeding 50 lbs. The work schedule is flexible, with shifts typically running from 6 AM to 2:30 PM. You will be part of a small team, often collaborating with the engineering department.
**Responsibilities**
- Assemble marine electronic control components according to drawings and work instructions.
- Perform testing, calibration, and quality checks on assemblies.
- Troubleshoot issues and support production and engineering teams.
- Fabricate and maintain all necessary tools and fixtures for production.
- Ensure assembled components meet engineering specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams.
- Complete departmental NCRs as required.
- Accurately scan all work into the ERP system.
- Manage inventory issuance and receipt on Work Orders.
- Achieve set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures and Work Procedures.
- Evaluate RMA products for troubleshooting and repair.
- Support field installation, commissioning, and customer troubleshooting.
- Provide engineering feedback for design improvements.
- Complete all applicable quality records and documentation.
**Essential Skills**
- 3-5 years of electronic assembly experience.
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with assembly and testing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Leadership qualities and ability to maintain team morale.
- Experience with oscilloscopes, soldering, and multimeters.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
- Marine experience preferred.
- Experience with schematics and blueprints.
- Comfortable working at client sites.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
