**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

Treaty Entertainment is currently recruiting Cashier for Cole Harbour location. These positions are responsible for supporting daily operations including handling transactions and providing a fundamental role in achieving customer satisfaction.

**Availability for any shift is essential.**

Current recruitment is for on-call casual back shift position (12am-8am). Starting hourly probationary rate ranges from $17 to $17.85; after probationary rate ranges from $17.90 to 18.70. Also, a $2 per hour premium on hours worked from midnight
- 8 am.

Full-time employments benefits include group health & dental insurance and Registered Pension Plan.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring the operations run smoothly.
- Receives and processes cash transactions ensuring to appropriately record transactions and records.
- Balances and reconciles daily shift transactions ensuring cash equals receipts, accountable for any discrepancies.
- Reconciling reports, by spreadsheet in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Reporting, in a timely manner, all issues and concerns to Shift Manager and/or Security as appropriate.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the Cash room.
- Maintaining confidentiality of customers and co-workers.

**EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Grade 12 or equivalent and/or 6 months experience in retail, cash handling and customer service.
- Experience with operating electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters, etc.)
- Criminal record check upon hiring

**ABILITIES, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Strong multitasking skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent mathematical skills and basic computer skills, with a common knowledge of Microsoft suite tools, and Excel
- Extended periods of standing, light bending and lifting might be required.
- Strong ability to work in a team
- Good interpersonal skills, organization ability.
- A commitment to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
