The P6 (Primavera) Scheduler will report direcly to the VP of Construction and Construction Manager. This position will support operations in B.C. and from time to time across Canada RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop all schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM) in Primavera P6. - Develo, monitor and update resouce-loaded schedules - Evaluate, perform resouce analysis, perform critical path analysis and prepare presentation using P6 - Develo project/Guidelines baseline CPM schedules in accordance with developed guidlines for approval by project teams - Provide support, scheduling assistance and education to preject team members - Develop schedule templates for futures use - Generate reports and update project schedules to includes any scope changes on a weekly or as needed basis. - Establish and maintain effective relationships with all project team members - Review and verify all project-related scheduling information with project teams - Develop, monitor and update post award schedules - Submit and present schedules and progress reports at project meetings. - Develop and maintain an effective quality control program to ensure services are performed in accordance with established standards - Develop and implement procedures to indentify, prevent and ensure non-recurrence of defective services **Requirements**: - Post-secondary education/college diploma/ University diploma - Civil engineering related preferred - Knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe - Valid BC license - Proficient in the english language (written and oral) with strong interpersonal and communication skills - Strong planning and organizational skills withthe ability to multi-task and prioritize. **Benefits**: - Competitive salary; - 4 weeks of annual vacation - Complete group insurance program upon entry (health and dental components paid by the employer); - Group RRSP with employer contribution to a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP); - 24-hour access to a virtual doctor (telemedicine); - Training and development programs; - Employee assistance program; - Active social club and health and wellness committee; - Diverse, innovative, and stimulating environment; - A company built on values of respect; integrity, and a job well done; - Firm recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
