Do you have a passion for craft beer, community engagement and enjoying the great outdoors? **Old Yale Brewing** is searching for a dynamic and enthusiastic **Marketing & Events Ambassador** to join our team to spread some fun vibes throughout the Fraser Valley this summer The **Marketing & Events Ambassador** will work alongside the Marketing Department and independently to execute all Fraser Valley Farmer’s Markets, Tastings and related events. This role is a great opportunity for those who are looking to immerse themselves in the craft beer industry while creating amazing connections with our community **CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Collaborate with the Marketing Team to execute event logistics both on-site and off-site. - Be the face of our brand by interacting with customers, vendors, community to create a positive and memorable experience while sampling Old Yale Brewing products in retail stores, events, and festivals. - Travel to and from various locations and events (primarily situated in the Fraser Valley), conduct full set-up and take-down of materials, product pick-up and drop-off. ,etc. - Have a strong knowledge of all OYB products to help educate and engage our customers about our products. - Achieve sales goals and targets that meet the expectations set out previously. - Conduct light administration with goal tracking and reporting as needed. **HOURS OF WORK**: - As a **part-time casual** position, the schedule will primarily be weekend and evening based and will include some weekday work from time to time. **JOB QUALIFICATIONS**: - A zest for creating genuine connections and fun experiences; outstanding interpersonal skills - Previously 1 year of experience in a demo or sales role is an asset. - **MUST** have a reliable means of transportation with a clean driver’s abstract. - Exceptional ability to multi-task and highly organized. - A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Serving it Right Certification or willingness to get it. - Flexibility to work evenings/weekends. - Available to work on a regular basis.
