Risk Control Consultant - Independent Contractor

Insight Risk Services is looking to hire commercial property loss control consultants, in relation with its commercial property insurance inspection business. As an independent contractor on Insight Risk Services team, you will have the opportunity to provide service to many leading insurance providers across Canada.

Your Position:

- Plan and carry out visits on site inspections to identify existing exposures/hazards and provide recommendations to prevent/mitigate loss.
- Write accurate and detailed inspection reports related to the insured property.
- Write accurate and detailed inspection reports related to the site visits and assessments.

Qualifications/Skills (Considered an asset but not required)
- Professional designations such as Canadian Risk Management (CRM), Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional (FCIP), Infrared Level 1 and other related accreditations
- Previous insurance industry industry experience (Broker, claims and underwriting)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work independently, travelling within an assigned territory and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Equipment, including Windows-based laptop, digital camera, laser measuring tools, wheel measuring tools, etc. needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
