**What you will do**
- _ You’ll research, write, line-up, and deliver newscasts on our radio brands_
- _ Report on the latest news when it breaks, including chasing and conducting interviews with newsmakers and people in the community, and reporting in the field when necessary_
- _ You’ll set editorial direction for your shift and subsequent shifts _
- _You’ll turn the best local content into web stories on our websites and social media _
- _You’ll have a great working relationship with our partners around the country to ensure we showcase the best of CityNews _
- _You will lead from the bench in the newsroom to ensure our teams live our CityNews values_
**What you will bring**
- _ People rely on CityNews now more than ever, so we need a dependable, smart, news junkie who loves building newscasts as much as they love delivering them_
- _Experience building newscasts, cutting audio for stories and reporting both inside the newsroom and in the field _
