We are looking for a CNC Machinist with a positive, willing to learn attitude, to join our Tool and Die Department team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work effectively with a team to ensure timely delivery of finished parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces.
- Set-up and operate a CNC milling machine by loading correct tools and part programs.
- Operate conventional machining equipment such as lathes, mills, surface grinders, etc.
- Verify dimensions of machined tools or parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications using instruments such as: micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, depth micrometers, indicators, thread gauges, and other specialized instruments.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness along with an organized workspace.

**Experience**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Familiar with computers and basic Microsoft office programs.
- CNC milling machine experience considered an asset.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma. Post secondary an asset.
- Willing to enroll in apprenticeship training for machinist Red Seal.
- Demonstrated evidence of successful teamwork.
- Reliable, work at a fast pace, ability to multi-task.
- Adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
- Ability to left up to 50 lbs.
