**Line Cook Job Description**

Kerr Street Cafe is on the hunt for experienced Line Cooks to join our talented team.

We’re a fun and trendy upscale Cafe in Oakville's Kerr Village serving breakfast/brunch/lunch, catering to the GTA and Muskoka with private/custom catering, but also have an online store with handmade small batch pre-made meals, proteins and desserts.

We're a made from scratch kitchen, eager to teach and help young cooks develop their skills, but also looking for the experienced line and prep cooks that can help us reach the expectation our clientele look for.

Perks: above average weekly tip out / staff meal / no late nights

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Aptitude for multi-tasking.
- Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Report daily to Executive and Sous Chefs.
- Creative and willing to learn and improve skills
- Able to work on a fast pace line and able to accept direction

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
