**Student Affairs and Career Advising Coordinator**:
**Primary Purpose**:
**Nature of Work**:
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Regina Campus, the Manager - Finance and Administration, Regina Campus for operational issues and reporting to the Director of Student Services for student issues, this position requires independent and team-based work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The Coordinator will liaise with students, faculty, staff, and external partners, including health authorities and recruitment agencies. Some provincial travel may be required.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Student Affairs & Wellness**
- Provide confidential support for students facing academic, personal, financial, or health-related challenges
- Coordinate wellness programming, including needs assessments, service contracts, and onboarding of providers
- Ensure equitable access to accommodations and support services across all campuses
- Liaise with Access and Equity Services, Saskatchewan Physician Support Program, and other partners
- Advocate for students in cases of mistreatment, harassment, or professionalism concerns
- Maintain regular dialogue with student leadership (e.g., SMSS)

**Career Advising & Mentorship**
- Implement and manage a structured career advising system for all years of the program
- Recruit, train, and support faculty career advisors and mentors
- Coordinate mentorship programs, including training for mentors and mentees
- Collaborate with the Peer Learning Network (PLN) to deliver career-related content

**Leadership & Administration**
- Collaborate with provincial and national stakeholders to ensure consistency and comparability of student support services
- Participate in policy development and accreditation compliance
- Represent the College at national meetings and on internal committees
- Develop and maintain print and digital resources for students

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Master’s degree in a related field (Health Care, Education, Psychology, Administration, etc.) preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in post-secondary or healthcare settings. Experience in diverse and inclusive environments is essential.

**Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tools
- Experience in project management and team leadership
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
