At Cambridge Elevating, we are seeking someone to join our team as an Applications Specialist on either a full time permanent OR contract basis. This individual will assist customers in spec’ing the right equipment to make a job successful, preparing 2D drawing packages, and using Excel to configure jobs for production.

We are the premium home elevator manufacturer for North America. Our purpose is to design and build the best home elevator equipment that allows people to age in place, build houses on a smaller plot of land, live their life with a higher degree of comfort, & overcome accessibility needs.

**Applications Specialist Position Goals**:

- Learn our array of product offerings and their intricacies
- Create and modify 2D layout drawings in CAD
- Create production shop floor drawings in CAD
- Send parts orders to purchasing
- Create and validate production packages
- Provide direction and support to local teams / dealers to be successful in spec'ing the right equipment for each job

**Required Qualifications**:

- General technical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with AutoCAD / Draftsight or similar
- Intermediate level (or better) skill set with Excel
- Customer service experience
- Excellent organization skills & attention to detail
- Aptitude for problem solving and collaboration
- **You do not have relevant experience in technical inside sales or CAD usage or manufacturing support or elevators (no need for experience in all areas, but at least 1 is required)**:

- **You currently live more than a 30 minute commute from Cambridge Ontario**
