Certified Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques, including orthodontics and pediatric dentistry
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties and ability to use Maxident oftware for appointment scheduling and record management
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry
- Experience with digital impressions is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate care to patients
