**To Our Professional Advisory Services Team**

CPA Ontario is currently in search of a **Sustainability Standards Advisor** who will help shape future domestic and international sustainability disclosure standards for the accounting profession. In this role you will be responsible for keeping up to date and informed on the latest **Sustainability/ Environmental, Social, and Governance** (ESG) reporting frameworks, standards and initiatives impacting the profession, and will assist members, and internal stakeholders, with their questions on ESG related services.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**Conducting ongoing research and keeping up-to-date and informed about Sustainability/ ESG developments** in relation to the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), the Canadian Sustainability Standards Board (CSSB), the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group’s Sustainability Reporting Board, and the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) and educating internal stakeholders on the changes and their impact.

**Providing input to Sustainability/ ESG public consultations** issued by the ISSB, the CSSB, the SEC, and others where relevant.

**Advising members on ESG related services** by preparing articles and implementation guidance for sustainability related standards and best practices.

**Assessing how assurance standards and integrated reporting are impacted by Sustainability/ESG developments, **evaluating their impact on the auditing profession, and advising the Practice Inspection team on developments in ESG assurance.

**Representing CPA Ontario on various provincial and national committees and providing feedback** on technical matters in relation to Sustainability/ ESG.

**Who You Are**:
A post-secondary graduate in Business and preferably Sustainability Management, Climate Policy, Public Policy or a related-environmental discipline who has completed the CPA program and are a CPA member in good standing.

A strong communicator (verbally and written) with excellent interpersonal, presentation, relationship building, and public speaking skills.

Extremely organized with a proven ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and excel at time management combined with a high degree of attention to accuracy and detail.

Self-driven and able to act on your own initiative and work independently within the scope of the position’s responsibilities.
