**SHIPPING AND RECEIVING**

**STOCK operates a customer-focused team atmosphere proposing tailored solutions while answering the challenges of a global supply-chain in a cost, inventory, and time-sensitive environment.**

**Objectives**:
To fulfill all the daily and cyclical operational activities of the warehouse as well as some equipment maintenance and premises caretaking duties.

**Activities**:
Perform all shipping and receiving work, complete weekly and monthly reports, assist in periodic inventory counts and do regular premise caretaking and equipment maintenance tasks.

**Responsibilities - Shipping and Receiving**:

- Pick and send customer orders
- Communicate with Transport Company to arrange pick ups
- Empty containers and receive other inbound shipments
- Count inventory received and enter on receiving form
- Send receiving report to Purchasing for costing purposes
- Complete forms and forward to management on weekly / monthly basis

**Responsibilities - Warehousing**
- Maintain sorting area processes of boxing and audits up to date and organized
- Place received goods in appropriate locations
- Store and rotate stock on first in first out basis
- Stock-count weekly (Fridays) and bring stock-count report to purchasing
- Perform physical count 2 times per year
- Keep merchandise correctly organized and shelved at all times
- Keep warehouse floor clean / swept / washed at all times
- Do preventive maintenance on forklift and other equipment (battery water, grease, etc)
- Complete scheduled activities on a timely basis
- Advise front office of any required repairs on fork-lift, building and other equipment
- Complete forms and forward to management on weekly / monthly basis

**Essential Skills**:

- Willingness and endurance to do physical labour (empty trucks by hand; lift boxes, use jigger, etc).
**- **Sense of tidiness and keeping physical spaces clean and organised.
- Respect and care for equipment and machinery.
- Courteous attitude towards colleagues, suppliers, and customer workers.
- Organization - maintain delivery times and business procedures.
- Ability to work in environment that sometimes changes quickly.

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Ability to work in Microsoft Windows and Office
- Bilingual (French/English) with good verbal and written skills.

**Requirements**:

- Forklift driver's certification
- Three (3) of experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving or other relevant work.
- Experience in distribution or re-distribution or packaging products an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
