We are very proud of our production quality and are currently looking for experienced Conventional or CNC Machinists to maintain our excellent reputation and to support a strong business pace. Our work is highly varied and challenging.

Job Duties and Skills:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints or study sample parts to determine machining operations to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations
- Compute dimensions and measure and lay out work pieces
- Set up, operate and maintain a variety of Conventional and/or CNC machine tools to perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as turning, milling, boring, drilling, and other operations
- Use indicators and other tools to set up fixtures, set tool holders and cutting tools, touch-off tooling and make adjustments to ensure adherence to tight tolerance dimensions
- Maintain tight tolerances and verify dimensions of components for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as a micrometers, verniers, height gauges
- Load, deburr and, inspect parts and ensure conformance to quality and drawing requirements.
- Maintain quality of parts and report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor and QC personnel
- Complete inspection reports (ITP) and other quality related paper work, as required
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on facility machinery and/or assigned machining center
- Operate Conventional or CNC: horizontal boring mill, machining center, milling machine, vertical boring mill, turning center or lathe
- Operate overhead cranes and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Ability to work unsupervised

Education Requirement: High School Certificate or equivalent

Experience Requirement: 3 - 5 years of related machinist experience
