Our Vancouver Kitsilano store is looking to fill the key role of full time Client Service Associate & Visual Merchandiser. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, demonstrating a high level of customer service and product expertise. Accountable for the daily appearance of the store, they collaborate to ensure the showroom has strong visual communication. They complete visual directions and provide feedback regarding product assortment, visual needs, and stock volumes.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Developing, maintaining, and growing a personal repeat client base
- Actively working to reach both individual and store sales goals
- Staying up to date on all product knowledge, company information, promotions, and campaigns
- Performing store operational duties such as cleaning, stocking shelves, shipping and receiving
- Acting as an ambassador and bringing positive recognition to the gravitypope brand
- Ensure products are displayed and represented in accordance with company standards
- Implement window and interior display directives
- Provide feedback to the Store Manager, Visual Merchandising Lead, and Merchandise Department on product sales, stock volumes, visual needs, and markdowns
- Ensure interior showroom and exterior storefront are maintained and kept clean, communicate maintenance requirements, and request display fixtures, loss prevention supplies and sign holders as needed
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field an asset
- Minimum 1 year experience in a retail environment
- Previous experience in luxury retail is an asset
- Initiative to independently stay productive and reach goals
- Ability to converse and build rapport with clients and co-workers
- Capable of working independently and with others in a collaborative process
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft 365 programs
- Experience with integrated retail and point of sales software platforms an asset
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- High attention to detail and surrounding environment
- Strong understanding of the retail industry
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and comfortable working on tall ladders
