**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare team members.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients, including those with dementia and pain management needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement case management plans.
- Perform phlebotomy as required for diagnostic testing.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
- Engage with children and their families to provide age-appropriate care and support.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures while promoting a safe environment for patients.

**Qualifications**
- Valid RPN license with relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner).
- Experience in medication administration and pain management techniques.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with children is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and maintaining patient dignity at all times.
