**Job Summary**

The Quality Assurance Technician’s primary responsibility is to maintain the quality standards required as per ISO 9001:2015 and customer specifications. The technician will be responsible for completing inspections at each level of production as well as comply with industry safety standards.

**Responsibilities & Essential functions**:
The technician will support the Quality Assurance team and our customers by undertaking the following:

- Coordinate and develop new product integration including gauging, ITP, first article inspection.
- Run a CMM in both manual and auto mode (Considered an asset)
- Use of an Optical Comparator.
- Conduct initial quality tests of manufactured/machined parts during each level of production.
- Perform product and internal ISO audits as applicable.
- Implement and maintain quality systems while considering customer requirements.
- Provide technical support for machined and assembled products.
- Prepare and issue inspection test plans, employ preventative measures as required.
- Participate in training for new processes and equipment.
- Participate in solving quality issues including supplier, internal and customer.
- Ensure necessary quality-related tools and procedures are available, controlled and used correctly and efficiently.
- Assist in conducting inspection and testing finished products, raw material etc.
- Ensure the orderliness, cleanliness, and efficiency of the Quality Department.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality management, product testing or inspection.
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- Have a working understanding of Health & Safety best practice and OH&S Legislation
- Have a working understanding of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system
- Possess computer skills and competency in MS Word and Excel and Job boss
- Competency using Solidworks (Considered an asset)
- Working knowledge CMM & PCDMIS (Considered an asset)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
