**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- The monitoring and operation of CNC machines, including lathes and mills under the direction of senior machinists.
- Cutting and preparation of raw materials for machining operations.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges under the direction of a senior machinist.
- Perform routine, predefined maintenance on CNC machines and report any issues.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with Machinists and Programmers to improve efficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-3 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of CNC machine operation; programming experience is a plus.
- Basic math an asset.
- Comfortable using handheld power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance.
- Forklift experience an asset but not required.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
