**POSITION**:Logistics Analyst

**REPORTS TO**: Transportation Manager - Bimbo Bakehouse

**LOCATION**: Concord (Vaughan), Ontario

**TYPE**:Remote

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Analyst who will oversee Supply Chain processes and product delivery by tracking and reviewing invoices, shipment status, and delivery route activity. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of a product, including purchase, distribution, internal allotment, release and final clearance of resources.

A successful Logistics Analyst should have deep knowledge of logistics and production planning concepts along with excellent communication skills and an analytical mind with business acumen.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Collects, interprets, and analyzes various types of logistics data including availability of product, reliability of transport and delivery, and other data related to product supply chain management, sourcing, and distribution.
- Maintains database(s) of logistics information. OTM report building, financial, operational metrics, forecasting.
- Tracks product flow from origin to delivery via web-based logistics systems and other appropriate methods of monitoring inventory and shipment vehicles. Route building, and lane analysis.
- Reviews logistics processes and procedures; identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to maximize delivery efficiency while minimizing costs. Pricing request from Sales.
- Reviews and analyzes transportation costs, parts procurement and delivery processes, inventory issues such as back orders, and other fulfillment metrics.
- Uses analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes. Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitors warehouse facilities to evaluate inventory transactions such as receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field required.
- 2-4 years of experience in an Analyst role.
- Previous experience in logistics field required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions in a timely manner.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Extensive knowledge of shipping and distribution channels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Must be knowledgeable and be able to follow GMPs, Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements
