Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter prescription information into the computer system accurately
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (e.g., Rx30, PioneerRx)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

**Skills**:

- Medication administration: Proficient in preparing and administering medications following established protocols and guidelines.
- Hospital: Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient care.
- Patient care: Ability to provide compassionate care to patients, address their concerns, and ensure their medication needs are met.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
