**Position Summary**:
This ensemble is dedicated to building improvisatory skills in groups of varying sizes, building connections and communication between players. The ensemble will also explore the creative and improvisatory practices of a variety of different musical and cultural traditions. As the group works towards two concerts per year, they will explore interdisciplinary approaches through the creation and fusion of different art forms such as storytelling, visual art/imagery, and others.

**Qualifications - Required**: Masters Degree or equivalent professional experience in Composition/Improvisation or leading an Improvisation Ensemble.

**Qualifications - Asset**: University experience directing or leading an Improvisation Ensemble. Improvisation performance experience at the national/international level is an asset.

**Salary**: $12,275.20 ($6,137.60 each term)
