**Position Overview**:
The Yard Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily yard operations. This role includes managing the equipment inventory, ensuring proper maintenance, coordinating equipment rentals, and maintaining a safe and efficient yard environment. The Yard Manager will supervise yard staff, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and work closely with sales and operations teams to meet customer needs and operational goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience:_
- Previous experience in a yard management, equipment rental, or similar operational role within the construction or heavy equipment industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction equipment and its maintenance requirements.
- Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles is a plus.
- Skills & Abilities:_
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills with internal teams and external customers.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of construction equipment and tools.
- Ability to interact with customers and provide onsite support and training.
- The Yard Manager will interact with various internal teams, customers, and external vendors regularly.
- Physical Requirements:_
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Certifications:_
- Forklift certification or experience operating heavy machinery.
- Supervisor training.
- Driver’s License: A valid provincial driver’s license.
- Fluency in Spanish an asset

**Compensation & Benefits**:
