**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Social Media Management
- Generate and manage content across all social platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar for regular updates and campaigns.
- Increase engagement, shares, and follower growth through strategic content.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a professional and timely manner.
- Conduct social listening and develop daily reports on public sentiment, stakeholder feedback, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with project managers and the safety manager to develop digital campaigns highlighting project progress and safety initiatives.
- Work with various teams to facilitate and execute video content distribution.
- Assist with quality assurance of content, including copy, graphics, and videos.

Public Relations & Communications
- Serve as the primary point of contact for public inquiries and resident concerns.
- Draft and distribute memo releases, newsletters, and project updates.
- Maintain positive relationships with city representatives, clients, and stakeholders.
- Assist in crisis communication and reputation management.

Community & Client Engagement
- Organize and attend meetings, and consultations.
- Develop materials to educate residents about ongoing projects and safety measures.
- Work closely with safety and project managers to ensure clear and accurate public messaging.
- Create and execute a comprehensive community engagement plan for all projects, from development to construction and operations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resident and public inquiries.
- Coordinate and attend community meetings, open houses, and public consultations.
- Ensure timely updates and transparent communication regarding ongoing projects.
- Track community concerns and develop strategies to address them.

Marketing & Branding
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including brand awareness and company engagement initiatives.
- Ensure all marketing materials align with the company’s brand guidelines and messaging.
- Visit worksites to capture high-quality photos and videos for marketing and social media.
- Coordinate production of company signage on work sites for brand awareness.
- Maintain an inventory of company-branded swag and coordinate orders for events, staff, and marketing initiatives.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities within the civil engineering sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to highlight company achievements and milestones.
- Assist in website updates and content creation.

Events, Contests & Internal Communications
- Plan and manage contests, giveaways, and company events.
- Assist with coordinating and supporting internal events, such as team activities and workplace culture initiatives.
- Work closely with the team to assist with the monthly company newsletter, gathering relevant content and updates.
- Monitor and present key performance indicators to upper management to assess the effectiveness of social and marketing campaigns.

Data & Performance Analysis
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics, adjusting strategies to improve reach and engagement.
- Use influencer management and analytics tools to assess the impact of digital initiatives.
- Prepare reports on social media trends, community feedback, and campaign success for management review.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- 1+ years of experience in social media management, public relations, or communications.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Experience in the construction or infrastructure sector is a plus.
- Ability to handle public concerns professionally and diplomatically.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, or other content creation tools.
- Familiarity with analytics tools for tracking social media performance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Multi-tasker with a strong work ethic
- Familiar with AODA requirements, ensures all digital presence follows guidelines.
- Familiar with website design

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
