- To receive, unload and distribute merchandise to allocated sections as orders arrive;
- To prepare merchandise for display by trimming and packaging produce as per Company standards;
- To fill, rotate and maintain displays, ensuring the quality of produce meets Company standards;
- To follow the set guidelines as per updated version of the PEP Program (Produce Evaluation of Processes);
- To assist customers with any questions and maintain good customer relations;
- To maintain the sanitation standards and safety procedures in accordance with Company policy;
- To perform other general duties as assigned.
**Summary**
As a Produce Clerk, you will be essential in maintaining the quality and presentation of our fresh produce section. Reporting to the Produce Manager, your core skills in communication and merchandising will help create an appealing shopping experience for customers. You will utilize your premium skills in retail sales and customer service to assist shoppers and promote our products. Additionally, your relevant skills in cleaning, cashiering, and organizational tasks will ensure a well-maintained and efficient work environment. **Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction
- Experience in retail sales and merchandising
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for customer service
- Proficient in cashiering and maintaining cleanliness in the work area
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and displays

Pay: $17.20 per hour
