**_ Status:_**_ _Full-Time, permanent

**_ Location_**: Surrey, BC

**_ Compensation_**: Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $50,000 - $70,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related insurance experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.

**Job Summary**

This role is responsible for providing high-level customer service, primarily in person, as well as processing documents, invoicing premium, preparing cover letters, producing certificates of insurance, schedules, claims reporting, collecting receivables and maintaining file documentation.

**Essential Job Functions**
- Handles issuance and sending of certificates, pre-renewal, renewal, new business submissions and proposals as requested
- Advocates for changes and additions to service plans that increase value for clients
- Helps with the maintenance of activity lists as requested (Endos, polos, account discrepancies, SOV’s, etc.)
- Contributes in regular meetings with team to ensure you are up to date on all pending client issues, changing needs, implementing service plans, and other issues
- Acera Leader in the client and insurance industry through professional writing, speaking and networking engagements

- Ability to maximize efficiencies by leveraging technology, tools resources and information
- Self-guided learner & solves problems with real solutions
- Working towards Level 2 BC Broker License
- Working knowledge of insurance document management software (EPIC)
- Skilled user of Microsoft office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
